Beijing Puran Shines at 2025 China International Urban Rail Transit Exhibition
From September 18 to 20, the 2025 China International Urban Rail Transit Exhibition, themed “Breaking Through with Innovation, Forging a New Stage of Urban Rail Transit Development”, was grandly held at the China Railway Qingdao World Expo City in Qingdao. As a manufacturer of core components for rail transit, Beijing Puran Rail Transit Technology Co., Ltd. participated in the exhibition with three major core business clusters.
Founded in 2008, Beijing Puran has been deeply engaged in the field of core components for rail vehicles for more than ten years. It has built a three-business matrix focusing on braking products such as high-speed rail brake pads and brake shoes, combined with the R&D, manufacturing and maintenance of hydraulic dampers, as well as the overhaul and manufacturing of electronic boards and control modules. Its products are widely used in high-speed EMUs, subways, locomotives and other fields at home and abroad, serving key customers including railway administrations, metro companies and train OEMs.
At this exhibition, the company’s booth displayed a number of star products that have broken through key core technologies. Among them, powder metallurgy brake pads and synthetic brake pads meeting UIC international standards attracted special attention. With high friction coefficient, excellent thermal fade resistance and wear resistance, they can meet the braking requirements of rail vehicles at various speed levels below 330 km/h. Verified by the market, they provide a solid guarantee for the safety of high-speed operation.
As a key component for the smooth operation of rail transit vehicles, the self-developed hydraulic dampers by Puran became another highlight of the booth. Integrating new material applications and precision manufacturing processes, the products have passed strict sealing tests and damping force performance verification, which can accurately match the requirements of the running gear of urban rail vehicles and effectively improve the stability and comfort of vehicle operation. Its comprehensive maintenance service system further realizes full life cycle support from manufacturing to after-sales service.
In addition, the electronic board overhaul services, pre-embedded channels, fasteners and other supporting products displayed by the company fully demonstrated Puran’s comprehensive solution capabilities in the field of rail transit wearing parts, winning extensive attention and in-depth negotiations from professional visitors on site.
Adhering to the philosophy of “Quality First, Customer Supreme”, Puran has always taken technological innovation as its core driving force. It took the lead in obtaining the IRIS international railway industry standard certification and the UIC International Union of Railways certificate, and is one of the first domestic braking product manufacturers to acquire UIC certification. All products possess complete independent intellectual property rights, successfully breaking foreign technological monopolies.
Relying on two major production bases in Changping, Beijing and Heze, Shandong, the company has formed a dual capacity layout with an annual output of 300,000 pieces for small and medium batches and 2.5 million pieces for mass production, laying a solid foundation for meeting domestic and international market demands.
During the exhibition, the Puran team actively participated in supporting activities such as the CAMET Forum and the High-Tech Achievements Fair, and held in-depth discussions with industry experts on topics including independent innovation of urban rail equipment and opportunities in the after-market maintenance sector, accurately grasping the development trends of the industry.
