Testing Services for Brake Blocks and Brake Pads

The Company’s Testing Center is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by CNAS, with its testing capabilities officially certified.

The Testing Center offers a wide range of CNAS-accredited testing services, including:

• Plastics: density, Rockwell hardness, compressive properties, and impact properties, tested in accordance with national standards.

• Metallic materials and products: density, Brinell hardness, and compressive strength, tested in accordance with national standards.

• Sintered brake blocks and brake pads for railway vehicles: friction and wear performance, shear strength of the friction material, and other parameters, in compliance with industry specifications such as TJ/CL 307-2019 and international standards including UIC 541-3-2017.

• Composite brake blocks and brake pads for railway vehicles: friction and wear performance, tested in accordance with TB/T 3541.3-2018, as well as international standards including UIC 541-4-2018 and AAR M-926 (2022).

The Testing Center has comprehensive testing capabilities and fully complies with both industry and international standards.

The Company has obtained CMA certification for hydraulic damper testing. This certification covers all core dimensional inspection items, establishing a comprehensive testing capability system that includes eight key test items: leakage testing, damping characteristic testing, ambient temperature testing, fatigue strength testing, insulation resistance testing, coating testing, weight measurement, and appearance and dimensional inspection.

It provides one-stop testing services covering key evaluation parameters such as product performance, safety, and appearance, offering strong support for quality control.

The testing process strictly complies with authoritative domestic and international standards and specifications, including Interim Technical Specifications for Hydraulic Dampers for AC Transmission Locomotives (TJ/JW 104-2017), Interim Technical Specifications for Hydraulic Dampers for Railway Passenger Car Bogies (TJ/CL 411-2014), Hydraulic Dampers for Railway Locomotives and Rolling Stock (TB/T 1491-2015), Determination of Insulation Resistivity of Vulcanized Rubbers (GB/T 1692-2008), and Cross-Cut Test for Paints and Varnishes (GB/T 9286-2021 / ISO 2409:2020), among others.

Some of these standards are aligned with internationally recognized benchmarks, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and credibility of test results.
