The brake block and brake pad segment relies on multiple R&D and innovation platforms, including the Shandong Provincial 'One Enterprise, One Technology' R&D Center and the Shandong Provincial Engineering Laboratory for Friction Materials.

It is equipped with a full range of advanced R&D equipment, such as a LINK full-scale brake dynamometer for rail vehicles, an X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, and a Phenom benchtop scanning electron microscope.

Among these, the core equipment—the LINK full-scale brake dynamometer—can simulate complex conditions, including high temperatures, extreme cold, rain, and snow.

It supports a maximum operating speed of 537 km/h, a maximum axle load of 52 tons, and a peak braking force of 120 kN.

It fully meets all testing standards for domestic subways, locomotives, and high-speed trains, and also complies with GOST (CIS), UIC (Europe), and AAR (USA) testing standards.

The Company boasts strong capabilities in the damper sector. It is equipped with over 40 advanced R&D and testing systems, as well as 19 testing and inspection facilities, including sophisticated instruments such as an MTS damper performance test bench, a high-speed extreme-temperature test bench, a Zeiss coordinate measuring machine, and a precision five-axis machining center.

In the field of electronic board and module maintenance, the company has introduced advanced international technologies while maintaining a strong focus on independent R&D and innovation, achieving a number of breakthroughs in testing, measurement, repair, and verification technologies.

It has independently developed a range of professional equipment, including a virtual train system, IGBT dynamic testing equipment, a TCU test bench, and a pantograph monitoring and testing bench.

Supported by advanced facilities such as the CRH3 virtual train system, high-definition thermal imagers, and MVB master station testers, the company has established independent capabilities for overhauling core modules of key rail vehicle systems, including the Traction Control Unit (TCU), Brake Control Unit (BCU), and Central Control Unit (CCU).
